this Sunday I have the pleasure of performing with a bellydancer ? it is Arabic music combined with Swedish and classical music.

agent legend from the mysterious oriental.
Prolog
1001 Swedish cello nights with Zuheyra tells the story of a beautiful oriental princess, who gets kidnapped from her country and love ones by a ruthless Viking king. Dragged down in the cold country of Sweden. Al alone in an unfamiliar country she loses her ability to dance. How can she live without here family and country? Here whole life was robbed from her and she will do anything to get it all back…
Zuheyra danst al meer dan 10 jaar jaar en heeft zich verdiept in de verschillende oriëntaalse stijlen: Klassiek Egytpisch, Turks met vinger cymbalen, Baladi, Saidi met stok, Kaleeghy, Meleya leff etc..
Zelf geeft ze dan ook professionele optredens en workshops voor bijvoorbeeld vrijgezell- en kinder feestjes.
Reeds een jaar geeft ze ook wekelijkse buikdans lessen in Maastricht.
Buikdansen is intensief en ontspannend tegelijk, helpt de rug soepel te houden en bevordert je gevoel voor eigenwaarde. Het maakt er niet uit hoe je uitziet maar hoe je je voelt, wat je uitstraalt en hoe je beweegt.
Tot slot is Oriëntaalse dans niet alleen een sport maar ook een kunstvorm, het draait om expressie en improvisatie, dansen met je hart.
De kinderen en prachtige dames van Zuheyra dans school willen u graag laten zien wat ze geleerd hebben. We laten zien wat buikdans is: plezier maken en het vieren van de vrouwelijkheid!
